Researched and collected data in North and South America for crop modeling purposes (soils, crop management, yield history, and historical weather data).
Developed/tested new technologies based on the concept precision agriculture, including methods for the delineation of site-specific management zones based on satellite imagery and application of variable rate nitrogen fertilization (United States Patent no. 6,889,620)
